Oven temperature converter

Convert Fahrenheit and Celsius exactly, with common baking temperatures for quick reference.

Enter your amounts

350°F = 176.67°C; 180°C = 356°F. Those are conversions, not identical oven settings.

How to use the result

Celsius = (Fahrenheit − 32) × 5 ÷ 9. Fahrenheit = Celsius × 9 ÷ 5 + 32. Values display to two decimal places. Choose the closest setting your oven supports using the recipe’s guidance.

Worked example

350°F = 176.67°C; 180°C = 356°F. Those are conversions, not identical oven settings.

Before changing the recipe

This converts temperature units only. It does not automatically subtract a fan/convection allowance, correct an inaccurate thermostat, or change cooking time. Check your oven manual and the recipe for fan settings. Gas marks vary by convention and are not included.
